A while ago I did some art for Zee wetsuits as a mock-up brief. Here's how it'd look on the actual wetsuit.

It's Alive! ALIVE!

I've finally got my portfolio up and running, albeit in an ungainly fashion. It's now on the right sidebar, if you want to take a look, though be warned its creaky and haphazard structure cannot sustain more then the most cursory inspection at present. I'm using 'Zymic' as the (most importantly free) web host under the charming domain name of "uuuq".
here's a hand-drawn logo I did for DeVine Wineries, a fictitious (I assume) brand used as a pretext to develop our ability to present concepts to a client.

I'm terrible at painting. Today I painted C-3P0 - or at least did a half-assed job of it. Enjoy.

Mambo Sticker

Our newest project has been the creation of a sticker for Mambo. The brief was to make something relatively shocking and generally 'out there'. I don't think my current design is very shocking (or original), but I like it nevertheless. I'm thinking of referencing the 'chicken's head as a mcnugget' instead to up the gore and make a more striking piece... not sure yet.

KIT Design

I'm an entrant in the KIT Design Award competition. Whilst I don't much expect to win, I was quite proud of my entry (It was quite challenging as I had previously been led to believe we could use tints of the 6 PMS colours listed as available.)
This design was my favorite.

Zee Wetsuits

This is meant to be for a wetsuit - white on black the size of an a3 page. Bear in mind that it's also meant to go under the left armpit at an angle with the 'zee' text correctly oriented on the horizontal.

AgIdeas

When I attended AgIdeas 2008, it was life changing. That sounds silly and possibly trite, but it's true. The speakers were incredibly inspiring, and I quickly sketched the faces of each one and made very quick precis' of eachs presentation. Perhaps i'll upload some of my favorites later.

Anyway, I was pleasantly horrified to learn that I had been photographed at some point during the presentations, looking particularly nerdy and captivated. I know this because an email to my favorite teacher from Agideas used the aforementioned photo as part of the copy. He showed this to the classroom. (argghhh.)


He gave me the printout of the email - here's the crappy scan of it I made.

It's stupid that i'm proud of this, right?
